Imperial Hall
The southern part of the Western Hall - another exhibition space.
Close contacts of the Żagań princess with the Berlin court resulted in Żagań becoming a place relatively frequently visited by members of the Prussian ruling family around the middle of the nineteenth century. The visits to the city by Frederick William the Fourth and members of his family were always noted by the local press. Information provided by the "Żagań Weekly" indicates that during the reign of Princess Dorothea, the Prussian monarch visited Żagań six times, Queen Elizabeth visited the city three times, and the king's brother, Prince Wilhelm, four times. Of course, these were not the only guests visiting Żagań. Rooms on the first floor in the southern part of the Lobkowitz wing were specially prepared for the visits of such distinguished guests.
