Courland Room, former Autographs Room

A place to store the ducal collection of manuscripts. Noteworthy is the decorative ceramic white stove topped with a vase, adorned with the coat of arms of Peter Biron and the coat of arms of the city of Żagań, which changed several times over the centuries until finally, by a City Council Resolution in nineteen ninety-six, it was changed according to the pattern of the city seal appearing on documents from thirteen hundred three and thirteen hundred five.

Attention in this room should also be paid to the ceiling and the eighteenth-century stucco decoration of the vault. Currently, this room hosts the sessions of the Żagań City Council.
